PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy explains how SB Foodie Pte. Ltd., which operates Kin Tub Thai Mookata ("Kin Tub", "we", "us"), collects, uses, discloses and protects personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore (the "PDPA"). It applies to personal data collected through this website, our reservation and enquiry channels, and our social media accounts.

1. WHO WE ARE

Kin Tub Thai Mookata is a restaurant at Level 1, 51 Boat Quay, Singapore 049840, operated by SB Foodie Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202317341W).

2. PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT

We collect only what we need to look after you as a guest and to respond to you:

Table reservations. Reservations are made on WhatsApp or by phone. We collect your name, contact number, number of guests, date and time, and any requests you share with us.
Private events. Your name, contact number, email address, group size and the details of your event that you send us.
WhatsApp, email and telephone. The contact details and information you share with us in those messages and calls.
Social media. When you message, comment on, tag or mention us on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Lemon8, YouTube Shorts or WhatsApp, we receive your profile name and the content you share with us. Each platform collects data under its own privacy policy.
Google reviews. Reviews you publish on Google are public. We show a selection on this website with the reviewer's name as published.
Your use of this website. Technical information such as pages visited, device and browser type and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 10).

3. HOW WE USE PERSONAL DATA

To confirm, manage and follow up on your reservation or private event.
To reply to your questions, messages and feedback.
To engage with you on social media, and to share posts in which you tag or mention us (see section 5).
To operate, secure and improve this website and our service.
To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

4. CONSENT AND WITHDRAWAL

By contacting us or making a reservation, you consent to our collection, use and disclosure of your personal data for the purposes in section 3. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting our Data Protection Officer (section 13). We will tell you the likely consequences of withdrawal, for example that we may no longer be able to hold a reservation, and we will process your request within a reasonable time.

5. SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS AND REVIEWS

If you tag or mention us in a post, we may share it on our own social media accounts with credit to you. If you would rather we did not, or would like a shared post taken down from our accounts, tell us and we will remove it. Google reviews shown on this website are reproduced as published; contact us if you would like yours removed from this website.

6. PROMOTIONAL MESSAGES

We send promotional messages only to people who have agreed to receive them, and we observe the Do Not Call provisions of the PDPA. You can opt out at any time by replying to the message or by contacting us.

7. DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTIES

We do not sell personal data. We disclose personal data only where needed for the purposes above, or where required or permitted by law, including to:

Service providers who support our operations, such as WhatsApp and the social media platforms we use, Google, and our website host and email provider. These providers process data on our behalf or under their own terms.
Government and regulatory authorities, where required by law.

8. TRANSFERS OUTSIDE SINGAPORE

Some of these service providers store data on servers outside Singapore. Where personal data is transferred overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure that it receives a standard of protection comparable to that under the PDPA.

9. PROTECTION AND RETENTION

We protect personal data with reasonable security arrangements against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification or disposal. We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes it was collected for, or as required for legal or business reasons, after which we delete or anonymise it.

10. COOKIES

This website uses cookies and similar technologies to work properly and to help us understand how it is used. We use Google Analytics, a service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use this website. It sets its own cookies and collects information such as the pages visited, device and browser type and approximate location, which Google processes under its own privacy policy. You can set your browser to block or delete cookies, but some parts of the website may then not work as intended.

11. ACCESS AND CORRECTION

You may ask to access the personal data we hold about you and how it has been used or disclosed in the past year, and ask us to correct any error or omission. We may charge a reasonable fee for an access request, and will tell you the fee before we process it. We will respond as soon as reasonably possible.

12. DATA BREACHES

If a data breach is likely to cause you significant harm, we will notify you and the Personal Data Protection Commission as the PDPA requires.
